On 30th August 2024, 28 cadets from Vidyadhira Vidyapeetom Central & Sainik School, guided by teachers Ms. Deepthi Venugopal and Mr. Jayaprakash, visited the historic Krishnapuram Palace in Kayamkulam. The trip provided valuable insights into Kerala’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Highlights included the renowned Gajendra Moksha mural, one of Kerala’s largest, and a collection of antique artifacts such as coins, sculptures, and manuscripts, showcasing the region’s past. Interactive sessions and discussions enhanced the students’ understanding of the cultural and historical significance of the site. The visit fostered cultural appreciation and historical awareness, making it an enriching and memorable educational experience.
